An Introduction of The SARFT Training Center

The SARFT Training Center (The Center) is an operating bureau of SARFT. It is also the largest education and training organization in the radio, film, and TV industry of China.
With a root in SARFT, The Center provides a variety of theoretical and practical training programs to radio, TV and film professionals at all levels throughout the industry. The Center also collaborates with Communication University of China in E-learning diploma programs. It also provides services to TV, radio and film related conferences and meetings, both domestic and international.
As China's radio, TV, and film industry grows, education and training becomes more and more important with its strategic and fundamental significance. The Center, which has switched its focus from "education" to "people", has a strong belief in innovation and practicability, and plans training programs on the basis of research and analysis results. It strives to become a world-class training organization with high professional standards.
The Center executes all SARFT's training projects, including various radio, TV and film professional, government personal, and political training programs. China's radio, TV and film industry is transforming itself to be a part of the market economy, while digital technologies are emerging and prevailing. The Center takes these chances and independently organizes many programs in these regards. Furthermore, The Center is making attempts in professional certification training, international co-operated degree education, and short term practical skills training.
As of today, The Center is providing training to 2,000 individuals per year. Additionally, the co-hosted E-learning diploma program at Communication University of China has a student body of 450. The Center also accommodates conferences and meetings with total participants of 10,000 per year.
The Center built its Shunyi Training Base in 2003. It is now the largest training base with the most sophisticated facilities in China's radio, TV and film industry. The base occupies a place of 125 area (about 3.1 acres), and has buildings of 31,000 square meters (about 333,000 square feet). The base has full service functions for training, education, accommodations, and entertainment, which are ready for all kinds of conferences, meetings and training programs.
